You have an interesting way of viewing things to say the least. Also amusing is the notion that if I, or someone else have the opinion that something from Model Railroader is not good value for the money, then I and those others are by default bashing Model Railroader. It's amusing that if I have an issue with a thread and for what ever reason it gets pulled, then you say everyone at MRH is a hypocrite. The post is still here and is not going to be pulled. I would not have said it looked like advertising. Without the HUGE MR graphics and pricing structure, etc in the original post. I believe in my post, I said something good about Model Railroader. No one here has a problem with anyone saying something good about Model Railroader.
If this gets pulled - well lets say you are all Hypocrites I doubt a similar "review post" on MR's forums about MRH would get the same treatment over there.

Model Railroader should appreciate our stance on this since they're getting a lot of free press out of this thread. Those who are affiliated with a hobby business must purchase advertising in order to post their links on here. If a reader who has no affiliation with a hobby vendor wants to post a link to the vendor's website that is fine, we will allow that (except in the case of competing hobby publishers). But the post itself can remain, since we want to encourage open discussion and even some debate about hobby topics, as long as it does not get rude or inflammatory. However, posts with links to competing publishers will have the links removed as a matter of MRH policy, since that constitutes advertising. Posts that are critical and posts that are highly positive should both be allowed to stand as long as they are nice about it. If this gets pulled - well lets say you are all Hypocrites. aka the Bash Model Railroader threadsīut if a person says any thing good about Model Railroader it is called free advertising and it should be pulled down ASAP. If it is bad press about Model Railroader and how much a rip off it is or this or that etc. I will refrain from doing that in the future. The links in the post are for reference to protect me, not for advertising purpose. I would like not to start any drama on this board, so I will follow the rules that MRH has put to me. I only share products to inform the public, and I give fair statements about them. I have interviewed at least three people from MR for school so far. If there is a problem they will let me know. So I am protected, in addition model railroader has visited my site to look it over. All the writing and postings that I do are for academic reasons. At one time I was a subscriber to a couple other magazines too. It was honest and I like what they are doing. I was not advertising, just giving my opinion. With that said, I am sorry that this caused problems with the people that read it. I have no budget and no credit, so I am in sure it will not happen. I would like to start this business someday. I have to write a mandatory blog that looks like I am a business. I am working on a business plan that happens to be about model railroad hobby videos.
